Polarcus Samur contracted for a 3D seismic survey in the Porcupine Basin

On behalf of itself and its partners, Providence Resources P.l.c., has signed a contract with Polarcus Limited for a 3D seismic acquisition project in the Porcupine Basin, offshore Ireland.
The 200 km2 survey is planned to commence in Q3 2011 and is expected to run for approximately 15 days using the seismic vessel Polarcus Samur. The survey will be conducted at Frontier Exploration Licence (FEL) 4/08. Providence is the operator (32%). SOSINA (8 %) and Chrysaor E&P Ireland Limited (60%) are partners.
